Everyone has heard the old axiom: Actions speak louder than words. Actions, including speaking, define culture in organizations. These repetitive actions, patterns of behaviors and speech, and even how people feel about those practices reveal the culture of an organization.

Everyone has also heard the old axiom: Nothing lasts forever.

What about when something needs to change, when the product, delivery system, customer, inventory access or times have changed? What about merging cultures? Which one wins? Who gets to say?

These are the questions that get addressed in the Culture Building Series. This series addresses the deep concerns and the attachment that people often have to their existing culture. This work is designed to facilitate the emergence of a new culture, one that is empowering and self-sustaining.
